This place is a must go for Friday fish and It's a perfect example of a hometown restaurant. I'll start with the salad bar. It had a great selection of homemade potato salad, pea salad, coleslaw and what looked like sauerkraut. I didn't try the kraut but the 3 salads were absolutely delicious! There also was a crockpot of pork and beans that I didn't try and homemade garlic bread that was amazing as well. It also had the 2 packs of little bread sticks that I used to LOVE as a kid, ya don't see those to often anymore. You can get a 3 or 5 piece fish meal that includes choice of potato and the amazing salad bar. You can chose between battered or broiled. My wife had broiled and I had battered, both were excellent! The batter is light and crispy and the fish was flaky and delicious. You won't even believe how low the price of either meal is. You definitely should call for a reservation and know you may still have a bit of a wait, we made a reservation for 430, when we left around 515 people calling were told they were 30 minutes out. They still take calls on a corded phone that is loud and rings alot haha. This place is blast from the past that you just don't see anymore!

My wife and I went there with friends for supper. The service was great. The food was very good. This isn't a fancy place but the service and the food more than make up for that. We had a relaxing dinner and evening. I totally recommend.

First time here and we loved it! The food was delicious, the fish fry portions are huge for the price compared to other restaurants we've been to and much more affordable. The open salad bar was amazing, I could have honestly just eaten that instead of an entire large meal; it had many side options to choose from, everything we tried was good. The restaurant is older with lots of character and was very busy. The bar area seemed nice and it was packed as well. The waitress was very attentive, sweet, and funny. The adult beverages were good and strong. We tried a "Grasshopper" for the first time as our dessert and it hit the spot. We can't wait to go back for steak and strongly recommend this place!!!

Brian and Ann have always done a fantastic job with their restaurant and always provide a great dinner. We stop on Friday nights and have their fish dinner and it is always great food! They have a bar with great drinks and the dinner comes with a side and their salad bar which has a great selection of food items. If you haven’t been here, you need to stop and try their food.
